Areas of Practice and Key Highlights
• Conveyancing and property law, including representing developers in the development of residential and commercial property; representing contractors in development contract matters; preparation of conveyancing contractual agreements and matters incidental thereto. Successfully advised on and implemented a joint venture for the development and construction of a mixed-use development project in Kiambu County, comprising the development of three hundred units, together with the incidental amenities.
• Advisory work including but not limited to advising clients in matters pertaining to land ownership and tenure in Kenya, conveyancing transactions, land use, land use, zoning and physical planning matters, and all other related fields. Successfully advised a client on change of use and environmental legislation compliance concerning the setting up of a fruit processing factory in Taita-Taveta County.
